Actually, Senator Jim DeMint as he said on the floor of the Senate and as Rachel Maddow was actually honest enough to show, said that he voted against the bill, because he believed in favored one group of Americans (in this case military veterans) over everyone else.

I think Senator DeMint’s vote is wrong, but Maddow is wrong as well. And if he bothered to listen to Senator Jim DeMint’s speech (that she obviously has access too) she could see and hear that as well. (Assuming she uses both her ears and eyes and not just her mouth)
